The Bee Man
Francis grew up in Soroti in northeast Uganda. This is an area that is known for cattle rearing. As a young boy, Francis was a cattle keeper and he loved honey, so as a boy he would often search for wild bee hives as he grazed the cattle.

Double the size
As a result of the ELD training he received in July 2017, Xavier, who was already a farmer, providing some vegetables only for his family, began to dream in a new way. He was inspired to grow many more vegetables, so that he could market and sell them to his community.

Rabbits
Pastor Henry currently leads a denomination of hundreds of churches in Uganda. He has attended ELD training and has now started a rabbit business to help his own family with income and to model to the denomination that business is good and can be used to support pastors throughout their region.

Chickens Build Communities
Ramesh attended the ELD training in India and returned to his home country to start an egg business with 150 chickens. In a few years it grew to 8500 chickens. The profit enabled him to hire 9 workers and purchase their own land to build a commu- nity center that now serves over 100 people.

Business has boomed for Tom after attending ELD training in Africa. He first started with tomatoes and has now added pas- sion fruit and peppers. He is producing such large quantities that wholesalers now drive out to him and fill up their trucks to take to market.

Chef Paul
In 2022, Paul attended the ELD training in Kenya and was hired to prepare the meals for the 50 attenders. Paul is a fantastic chef with a culinary certificate. During the training he realized that he could use his passion and skills in cooking to start a ca- tering business.
